In order to offer a more hands-on approach to experiencing and engaging with art, Nasjonalmuseet launched a project aimed at creating interactive objects for visitor interaction. These interactive objects are part of the permanent exhibition known as "Samlingsutstillingen" and are placed in 30 different rooms. The objects in each of these rooms have a unique design that reflects the art surrounding them. All objects are designed and produced by Pivot.
The objects are manufactured at our studio located at Fellesverkstedet in Oslo. The primary materials utilized in the production include oak, Corian and Valchromat, with CNC milling being the primary production method. Additionally, we incorporated various techniques such as SLS printing, aluminum milling, laser engravings and more.
